Using client side skins in clientmod is same as using skins in Steam CSS version. Follow the below steps to use skins :
Generally a skin has these folders :
- Create a folder here and name it anything you want. Ex: my_skins
- Now copy your skins folders (materials, models, scripts, sounds, etc) into my_skins folder.
- Restart your game.
Note : You can create as many folders as you like inside cstrike_custom folder for each skin. Or you can put all skins into a single folder. Only difference is creating multiple folder will increase CPU usage, and your game may crash or you will experience FPS drop. We advice you to create a single folder, name it anything and put all the skins into this folder.
Removing/Deleting Skins
If you want to delete or remove a skin. Just delete your skin folders from cstrike_custom/my_skins folder.
If you want to remove all the skins at once, just delete everything inside cstrike_custom folder.
You must restart the game to changes to take effect.
