Sometimes existing screen resolutions doesn't fit your needs. You can add a custom screen resolution to your game.

- Download Custom Resolution Utility (CRU).
- Extract and launch CRU.exe

40

- Select your monitor from dropdown box. (Generally already selected)

41

- Now in Detailed Resolutions section, click on Add.

43

- Now in Active section, enter your custom Horizontal and Vertical Resolution and click on Ok. For example, you want 1600*710

45

- Click Ok again to close the application and restart your computer.
- Now open game, and go to Options > Video Settings
- Click on Resolution option, now you should see your custom resolution listed here.
- Select your resolution and Click on apply to save the changes.

Note: Do not touch any other settings in Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) application unless you know what are you doing.

In order to remove black bars and have stretched 4:3 aspect ratio, you will have to add custom resolution in your GPU settings.
If your GPU control panel doesn't has custom resolution option then use this software.
Once your custom resolution is ready and you can see that custom resolution in your game, next step is to enable Scaling option in your GPU settings.

If you don't know what is the perfect 4:3 resolution for your monitor. Follow the below chart :

884

If you want to have 4:3 stretched with your current resolution (640 x 480), then just enable full screen scaling option in your GPU setting.

GPU doesn't mean dedicated or external GPU.
Your PC should have Intel Integrated Graphics card.
It has it's own settings.
